This album is an attempt to collect all the photos from the same period into a single sequence. This album contains nearly all my photos from before 1950. Yes, Birmingham is far enough to the north of Mobile that we sometimes get very big and deep snowfalls. Not every year -- no, not even every five years -- but often enough to be a part of the prevailing culture around these parts.
