This album is an attempt to collect all the photos from the same period into a single sequence. This album contains nearly all my photos from before 1950. As always you are welcome to add comments at the bottom of the page. I am especially eager for help from anyone who has better dates or better identifications of the people in these photos.

Zeph Harvey (c. 1880)
Carol's paternal grandfather from Texas. This man's dad was a Tennessee Choctaw Indian named Tomah Hoja, who simply changed his name to Thomas Harvey, became a horse trader, moved to Wichita Falls in Texas, and then married a local girl, the mother of the man is this picture. This guy then married a girl named Laura Alabama Wallace. Though Laura was raised in Texas, she was usually called "Bama" Wallace. Laura is buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham.
