Photo Album Number Four (1937-2007)
Photo Album Number Four (1937-2007)
As I go through the house looking through drawers, closets, old boxes in the attic, and so forth, I keep finding lots of old photos. This album contains more photos of Sarah, Jacob, Carol, Warren, Michael, Thom and the persons important to them. There are also some interesting World War Two era snapshots. The photos are in the best chronological order I can devise. If you have a better date than mine, please notice that you can type in comments at the bottom of each photo page. Please feel free to comment.
Tommy and Plane (c. 1967)
Tommy and Plane (c. 1967)

Another view of Tommy and the plane he used to rent at Shelby County Airport. (Tommy did not attend when Carol and I were married. He had a "thing" about Catholics. Nevertheless, in his later years, we -- i.e. Pops and Tommy -- became very close friends. He was a guy who should have had a chance to go to the university and get a Ph.D. in history. Thanks to the Great Depression and his being drafted into the World War Two, he never got that opportunity. and elsewhere in my photo albums you will see that his mother drove away the love of his life. I still miss the man almost as much as I miss my father. We had common interests in history, philosophy, literature. May he rest in peace!)
