Thelma, Tommy, and a 1920's Roadster (c. 1929)
The old car dates from the mid-1920's. It's not a Ford or Chevy. Thelma appears to be about 15 years old, Tommy about 9 years old. Best guess is the picture was taken around 1929. . .just before the beginning of the Great Depression. Notice Thelma has the rolled stockings and short skirt and hair-do characteristic of the Roaring 20's.
