Debaters are always a bunch of wise guys who turn out to be really wise. Take Ferrari, for example. He appeared on the "G.E. College Bowl" during the first year that the show was hosted by Allen Ludden. When Ludden ruled one of Ferrari's answers wrong, Ricky protested. In the week that followed, researchers realized that Ferrari was right and the question writers were wrong. Ricky's school was invited back for a second appearance to right this wrong.
