These photos start with the Christmas Season of 2007, cover the trips to New Orleans in early June of 2008 and to the Birmingham Zoo in late June of 2008. (Please note that the Birmingham Zoo tries as much as possible to exhibit animals in their natural environments and near other animals from the same environment. You will notice this especially in the pix of the lions -- gazelles, zebras, kudus, and giraffes are housed nearby the lions -- and the gorilla -- who is displayed near a cave on a mountainside. Hint: Carter O. Dunbar is almost ready to visit the Zoo.) After the Zoo there are photos taken during our July 2008 visit to Gatlinburg for the Applause National Talent Competition. The album ends with a few pictures taken in Tuscaloosa while we were visiting Thom, a picture of Dennis Berg in a Buddhist monastery, and a couple of shots of Carter O'Rourke Dunbar.
