The Texans (c. 1960)
This photo is of the seven surviving children of Zeph and Laura Harvey's eight natural children. (They also had one adopted child.) One boy named Herbert died of appendicitis while on a cattle drive back before World War One. This photo was taken in front of Jewel's house on Tuscaloosa Avenue in the West End section of Birmingham.
